ARTS & COMMUNITY	Dramas (Actor, Director, Producer, Script Writer) ● Stage Dramas (Since 1958) ● Radio Dramas (Since 1960) ● TV Dramas (Since 1970) ● Patron & Advisor to Ravindran Youth Drama Group (from 1988 to 1990) – Pek Kio CC, IAG ● Conducted workshop in Tamil Drama & Speech for Tamil Children at Sub-Station (2002) and SINDA. ● Conducted Drama workshop for Indian students in Tamil Nadu (especially in Chennai) – 2009. ======================= 1973 – Chairman of ‘Vennila Kalai Arangam’ (Vennila Arts Theatre) and organized dramas and social activities like helping the poor and addition with sports activities for Singapore Indians. (At present TACS) ======================= 1976 to 1986: Treasurer / Members of Cairnhill Residents Committee. =======================
	1986 – Formed an Indian Cultural Group (ICG) as part of Pek Kio Community Centre. Conducted cooking, and arts for Indian and multi-race ladies; also conducted dance classes, martial arts classes for youths, and tuition classes for needy students. Received an Award for being the best Indian Cultural Group. =======================
	1987– Participated in various national events and brought popularity for Indian traditional arts, such as the ‘false-leg horse dance’ (poikkal kuthirai) which was highlighted in local currency. =======================
	1988– Formed coordinating council (Narpani Pearavi) for Indian Cultural Groups of 15 Community Centers around the island. About 69 IAGs were formed and their activities were coordinated. =======================
	1990 – Indian Cultural Month celebrations were organized at the national level. Appointed by MCD as the Chairman of the organising committee. Celebrations of the Indian Cultural Month formed part of Singapore’s 25th Anniversary Celebrations. =======================
	1991 to 1993: Chairman, Pravahika (Hindu Centre) 1991 to 1993 & Organising; Chairman, Maharashtra Quake Relief Committee; Family & Youth Counselor. ======================= 1995 to 2010/2017 onward: President, STiTS, Singapore Tamils IT Society. 	1998 to 2011: Founder/Moderator of about 25 Yahoo Groups & Google Groups (networking & forum) for Singapore Indians. =======================
